I just got an '09 XB9SX and am looking at getting a set of H&B Gobi Saddle bags. I want to be able to lock up my bags if I go somewhere, and I like the idea of having hard saddle bags. I haven't found any other manufacturers for hard bags for Buells. The bags are pretty expensive and look nigh invulnerable and the question I am asking myself is: Am I overkilling it? | ||

Let me know if you find anything less expensive. I've got an X1 and would live to find some hard/locking bags that won't cost over $1,000. The Gobi bags looked pretty sharp, but don't have as much space as the stock ones on the Uly. | ||

I decided not to go with the gobi, and stepped down to the Junior because it looks better with the matte black and has 40L of space rather than 37. I just wish H&B would make another top loader besides the gobi. Well another one besides the ammo can looking aluminum ones. I don't want to look like I'm invading poland when I go for a ride. |
