My buddy and I recently got back from our trip down to Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina and Georgia area. I took quite a few pictures, but hardly any scenery shots! I couldn't stop taking pictures of my beautiful Uly! Who says it's fugly?? Anyway, here are some of my favorites... I have to apologize in advance cause my buddy and his Suzuki are in quite a few of the pics!

Did we meet at the Gap? Fat dude on a red XT, I was fueling and on overload. If so, my bad for not being more sociable. |

I did see a red XT on 28 as we were getting close to the Gap - we were going north, the red XT was going south. Don't know if it was a fat dude on there or not... Don't think I saw another Buell that day - or for the rest of the trip for that matter. It was July 22 - we got there around noon. I didn't talk to any buell guy so you didn't hurt my feelings! :-) |

I was there that whole week. Probably me on 28, I usually head out of the immediate area by ~1000. |

Very nice pics, congrat! I'm looking for hard cases and think the Givi V35 your friends is using the best looking for the Uly. How did you rate them compared to your Journeys? |

Rcf2, I think they're good bags... I didn't really use them, but watching him use them they seemed to open up a bit easier than mine. And they definitely seemed easier to put on the brackets than mine are. Seemed solidly built. Room-wise, they seem roomy enough - maybe not as much room as mine, but close for sure. The downside is that they leave a lot of hardware on the bike when they're off. Could be an issue if you plan on having them off a lot. |
