Post drop I'm trying to replace the left rear turn signal. Can't figure out what to remove to get at the wiring...... Suggestions?? Thanks in advance! |

I removed license plate light and then loosened side bag mounting brackets which allows plastic cover underneath rear fender to drop down enough to unplug the two turn signal connectors. After replacing, try the signal before re-tightening all bolts. |

Yep, that's it. Remove the license light, it's held in with a pair of nuts that face the tire. Once its out, you can pry on the splash shield to see where else you need to remove stuff. IIRC, I removed the seat latch (from under the seat) and the four bolts that hold the bag brackets to the tail. Pivoted the bag brackets downward on the bolts that go to the passenger peg mounts. Pushed a little on the trunk pan to give some clearance. You should be able to pull out that inner-rear splash shield at that point. |
