David Swarts has written a really good article on the journalists tour of the Buell factory - also INCLUDING the opening of the "barn" for this tour with some historic bikes on view there.

Swarts and Roadracing World had a great series in 2003 in which they prepped an XB9R for racing. Swarts' fondness for the Buell comes through in the article.

A really great perspective on the Buell Motorcycle Company and puts your mind's eye around just how MUCH is actually done with how FEW folks!

(oh and in a direct poke at the Stupor Wipe website)

quote:

There are people out there who do not like Buell. One popular motorcycle racing website does not even try to hide its bias against Buell Motorcycle Company. Journalistic integrity aside, it's hard to imagine anyone who does not like or at least respect Erik Buell and Buell Motorcycle Company.

Roadracing World - on the newstands now. Cycle Gear has them for sale in CA.

If you don't subscribe, you ought to! RRW is legit moto-journalism unilke the above-referenced "online motorcycle racing website."
