K fellas, I got some info from Nate (I think).
Their ride leaves from indiana on 7/22.
It makes it to NYC on 7/24.
At 0630 on 7/25. They will converge on ground zero for a ceremony "where it all began".
That day they ride only till noon where the festivities begin in the branford ct elks club.
On the 26th the ride kicks off from exit 61 rt95 and goes right into Middletown ri. Leaving ct at 10:00.
At 11:30 there is a stop at the exit 2(ri) welcome center where Nate's work buddies and risp escort is picked up.

If anyone knows someone looking for a firebolt mine is for sale. I am gonna shoot for $5000. for the rest of the summer and drop price in fall if I still have it. I have begun telling my friends and posted it on craigslist a few time. I love it but it is time for a change.

We just got back. Left about 9am. stopped at the bean and headed back. Roads are a little dirty from all the rain we had and were a bit slippery from wet tree droppings all over the ground. only did 80 miles. Sorry I missed you post Felix, I would have loved to ride with more people. It was just my father and I.

Tat, I dont know if I am crazy or not, but I didn't realize how cool my bike was running with the RSS till today. I took it off and put the stoock flap thing back on. That rear head was so hot... my ass and right side of frame was noticeably HOT! Oh, and it felt weird hearing that fan running so much. I think it is worth every penny after riding with out it.

Great, I will keep checking in. Keep me posted. I am supposed to go up thurs. with a bunch of people I work with, but I wont know if I will have thurs off till I get into work tonight. I will go up both days if I have a chance.

I bought a stock muffler and it came with a few extra parts that I don't need. I'm not sure what year bike they came off of. It looks like the person I bought the muffler from had installed a factory race kit and didn't need the stock parts anymore.


Ecm: $40
Exhaust valve servo: $20
Upper air box cover: $20

Buy all of it together for $60

OK a Wed. ride to Laconia sounds great to me.I Havent been riding with anybody here yet.
I usually have a crappy work schedule but I took have Wed. off and was planning to go to hillclimb at Gunstock. However would be up for just going to Laconia to ride and enjoy the mayhem. The drunk stop on 93 might be a good meeting spot?

Just a little reminder about drinking while on the bike....

Last night my father in law was in a motorcycle accident, he is currently in ICU and not doing good. fractured skull, broken jaw, broken vertebrae, road rash, etc.. he is not doing good. He rides a harley and had a brain bucket on at the time. There was a little article in today's telegram and gazette. Just say a little prayer if you can and hope for the best. Thanks
