Saw a black Firebolt with red wheels on Sunday headed south on Route 27 near Westminster. I am pretty sure I saw the same one headed south on 97 by the airport in Westminster as well. Sunday I was on by blue cityx, but today I was caging it. | ||

Spotted a Hero Blue XBS. He was on the outer loop of 695, we were on the inner. We traded waves. I was riding back from the Timonium Bike show with another Bueller. Spotted a black Firebolt at some joint called "Orioles". On 40 between Fredrick and Hagerstown. Man it was some good riding today! Hope you all got out. | ||

Spotted a black Harley on MD Route 75 today. Was it you? Ha ha... Yep, it was a fantastic day for riding, finally. I zig-zagged my way (on my black Harley - the Uly is getting it's 10,000 mile service) up from Silver Spring to Frederick, spending a lot of time on Woodfield Road, Bethesda Church Road, and Routes 75 and 26. Didn't see any Buells, alas. Still amazed at how many riders I saw who weren't wearing gloves. Aside from the safety aspect, it wasn't THAT warm today! | ||

I passed two guys today wearing nothing but a tshirt! One dude on an old beat-down Harley and another on a Yama-Kawi-Honda. And here I was in full gear... And that Harley was just a buddy-bike! That was my first ride on one, and most likely my last. But you're not the first to mention the thought that I might be switching camps. Let me reassure everyone that I'm a diehard Buelligan.  | ||

Yo, did I see you? Rolling south on Maryland Route 27 into Damascus on a relatively slower-than-a-black Barricade Orange Uly at about 2:30pm today, Sunday 3/9/09? Wearing a gray T-shirt? Really? I was on my black Harley today. I saw a red Lightning in Mt. Airy, MD too. Two Buells in one day is a personal record for me! Of course, with temps in the low 70s, everyone and his brother and sister were out today. Drop the temps into the 60s, and I'd have the roads to myself. The DC/MD/VA area is mostly a fair-weather riding bunch, which drives me up the wall. Seriously, I haven't seen so many stretched-out "custom" choppers since "American Chopper" was on the Discovery Channel. Get some good gear and get out there people! | ||

Black Uly two-up through Strasburg Saturday afternoon. Anyone here? The DC/MD/VA area is mostly a fair-weather riding bunch On that note, I'm sure I pissed off a few owners this weekend by not waving. I went three months without seeing 10 bikes total, you get out of the habit. |
