In this thread you'll find some great pictures of the Madstad set up. Definitely the sweetest looking of the adjustable bracket arrangements. My only complaint with it is that you can't use the stock flyscreen. http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12 0486&page=134 |

I'm curious, why won't the Madstad brackets work with the stock short screen. Are they too big? Thanks |

The mounting holes do not line up. This was intentionally done for the stated reason that the plastic of the stock screen is not strong enough to support the Madstad screen in the fully extended position. |

I have the Madstad brackets and shield. I'm very happy with the quality and look but I'm 6'4" and I seemed to get a lot of buffeting so I made a bracket to raise the MAdstad brackets up a couple of inches. While I was at it I made a spot to mount my Temp/battery guage.

I went and checked his site, he has revised the brackets to use the Uly shields now instead of the V-Storm ones.

You can spend a ton of money trying all the options we have and end up with something you're not satisfied with.
Last time I checked you were bitching all weekend about the bugs and had to clean your visor at every red light. |

I shaved 2" off the Buell tall screen. Now it's perfect, no buffeting and torso protected.(6'1" & 32" inseam) |

I went with the Cee Baileys tall screen, then chopped it by about 3", It works great now, 6' 5" & 38" inseam.
