another trick is to relocate the coil and run the wiring under the tank to clean up above the engine. |

This will be the next project bike, FXR Frame, midsets, XL tank, MX bars, XL motor, inverted front fork, XL power plant though, (to keep the cost down and keep it true to my XL Lust)

I really dig this too. I think it's an Exile bike isn't it? I love the looks of that thing. They did a one off carbon fiber peanut which I think is kinda cool. I really like nice simple clean wheels like those 5 spokes too. I hate wheels that look like something a Klingon would be armed with. Very cool |

slicker - Skip the FXR frame. A solid-mount Evo sporty frame is similar in appearance (with the traingle sections under the seat), will make sourcing parts much easier (frame, engine and tank, running gear all from one bike), and I think the shorter wheelbase will be more fitting to both the XL engine appearance and overall character of the bike. My 2 cents. |
