I got 2 codes today I have never had before. I did just get the bike back after the October low side. Just asking for help as to what they mean. 1. ACT INT ERR SYS ERR 2. BARO SYS ERR THANKS IN ADVANCE |

The active intake error code is normal if the active intake has been disabled. It will set this code in 3rd gear if you hammer the throttle. The ecm will see (using the tps) that the intake solenoid did not pull back the throttle from 100% to about 11%. This code is only normal if the active intake has been tampered with. Check your Baro sensor to see if it is mounted properly. I just got my bike back from the dealer and it was upside down again. The nipple should not point up or it will get full of water and cause problems. I got my bike new with the baro sensor incorrectly installed. Buell tech tip 390 has a list of things that will cause drivability problems and that is #5 on the list. Also make sure it is plugged in all the way and has good terminal tension. |
