I just added several of the Touratech parts to my '07 Uly, since I plan on get it onto the dirt more.

Anybody else put any of the protection parts on their bike?

The only things I wish they sold that they no longer sell are the rear brake and shifter levers. Both were collapsible, thus wouldn't break if you dropped the bike. According to the US distributor, neither part is available any more here in the US.

I looked in the spanish web site, and the brake lever is still available, i supose in the US too, the codes is:
01-380-0090-0

As per the gear lever as far as i remember there never was one done, but why don't u get a used one on ebay and have spare it wont weigh much.

I have the part numbers, but neither are available any longer according to Tov at Touratech. Apparently they weren't big sellers.

My plan was to buy a spare rear brake lever and shifter. That way I wouldn't be stuck.

I'd rather have a spare shift lever and linkage. The Uly could be ridden without the use of the rear brake farther than without a new shifter and mangled linkage. NUTS

I tried to get the shift and rear brake levers to back in 2007 I just missed them being pulled. I like the oil cooler guard everyone always points at this and asks where I got it. I'm with Nutsosane I pack anything that can break off on a trip if I have a fall. I learned to do this when I watched one of my Buell buddies crash on the Blue Ridge parkway. It took several days after to almost a week to get replacement shift linkage. K

Interesting... I just got in touch with Touratech. Apparently there was a lot of modification work that had to be done to get the shifter and rear brake levers fitted properly on the Ulysses. That's why they have been pulled from the market.

I think a spare is probably the best option at this point.

I have a TT shift lever if anyone is interested. I'd trade for something interesting too. NUTS

Nutsosane. After what Touratech told me, I'm not sure I would use the shift lever. Apparently the modification to get it to work on the Ulysses was much greater than they expected.

Thanks, for the info. I had this shifter on my 06 Uly for about 1k miles and didn't have any issues. I bought it hoping it could be adjusted to be shorter than the stock lever. I have size 14 boots and it can get kinda funny at times. I carry it as a spare with a linkage. NUTS

Yo C-Slicker...I've always wondered...where did you get the BUELL decal on your tank/frame?

It came on the tank, I heated them up with a hair dryer and moved them, added alil extra stickaglue and put them on the frame. I liked the clear see through to be blank. Then I put the 'American motorcycles' sticker across the front to cover the foam layer behind the windscreen.
