The brackets are a sweet little widget. I just wish he made the bolt pattern to be compatible with the stock flyscreen. I just installed the ZG tall screen and though I'm quite happy with it, I do wish I could give it a little more vertical tilt and perhaps an inch more height. I exchanged e-mails with Mark (I think that was his name) at Madstad and he said he intentionally made the two incompatible due to the weakness of the plastic in the stock flyscreen. I agree with him in terms of simply trying to bolt his brackets directly to the screen, but I am certain that with a little bracing on the inside of the screen, let's say, with two 3/4" wide strips of 1/8" aluminum plate behind each bracket, it would hold just fine at any speed the Uly is ever going to attain. My Uly is Barricade Orange and simply having a little less wind on my chest just isn't worth the cost of his aluminum screen, brackets + a custom color-matched powder-coating.
