So,I'm doing my winter maintenance and Farkeling.
I am cleaning and servicing all my electrical connectors,This is what I got when I unplugged my fuel pump.
The ground wire was WELDED together.
I would assume the connector couldn't handle the amp load.

sorry about pic quality,The camera needs help(garage model)
On a positive note this was the last connector I had to do.
These are the products I use,I swear by them.

As a personal recommendation spend a few bucks and buy a good dielectric grease and an electrical anti oxidization paste.
All the connections in your home probably have that.
This is my Bike,or whats left of it.
Ill do a post on what I'm doing later.

Tip for you with the camera, your issue is that your objects are too close, the camera isn't focusing on them. Pull back a few more inches, and set your camera to portrait mode. : )

Also look and see if your camera has a macro mode. Usually looks like a little flower. This allows you to get close up while staying in focus.

I had that problem. It was due to a faulty ground. Part of the current from the starter motor was using the fuel pump ground wire to get back to the negative terminal of the battery. The fuel pump is also grounded to the frame so that wire should never see enough current to weld it together, the fuel pump is fused at only 10 amps.

If that was on the XT you should have had it repaired under warranty. DAMHIK
