Ok so this has nothing to do with bikes. I have no information to share. just wondering who works at night and has nothing to do but look at badweather. I work from 11pm to 7am. Sence I broke my ankle I know work in the office. so when I don't have anything to do I search Badweather. It keeps me sane. Just wondering who else works the night shifts. |

BW is my home page, it is my insomnia default. Life of sales, you are ALWAYS working. Besides you can rest when you're dead |

I work nights. 3pm until they decide to let us knock off for the night. I spend quite a bit of time on the bad web. |

I usually do 11 am - 11 pm shifts. Often I take the "long way" home and/or detour past the monuments in DC. That's one of the reasons I picked the screen name I did. d |

6pm to 6am......I get to miss the traffic on the way to work and home, as it is always headed the opposite direction at these times. |

I am semi-retired now, but for well over 30 years when I was working as an aircraft mechanic I commuted year round by bike at night. Only snow storms and heavy fog stopped me, although I still got caught a few times. I did it mostly for fun, but the savings in gas and the preferred parking at the airport made it worthwhile. |

I'm curious. I don't work nights but, what's with all the 12 hour shifts? Are you guys salaried, working a bunch of OT or doing a 3 12 thing? |

I work as a dispatcher at the police department (until I go to the academy next year). We work 12 hour shifts with rotating days off. Also, I'm very much a night person, couldn't see myself working the day shift. |
