I looked one over at Frederick Buell/HD today when I dropped my Uly off to get the electrical glitch repaired. That thing is B.A.D.A.S.S. looking. I've heard it compared to a Cylon warrior ( http://www.starstore.com/acatalog/BSG_Cylon-new.jp g ) from BattleStar Gallactica and I think it's a pretty fair description. looking down from the riders position the radiator scoops look like the wings on a Cylon Raider ( http://www.thegalacticcore.com/shipyard/zips/image s/raider.png ) |

Somebody had one at Buelltoberfest last weekend. What was really funny is the KTM test ride area was deserted while there was a crowd standing around drooling over the CR. Wicked looking machine. |

Beautiful bike Hey Garry, now I'm jealous. I'm waiting for the CR to come over here so I can have a test ride. Not sure if it would replace the Uly but I like it on paper at least. Apart from the seat, what's the rest of it like, particularly on those superb roads where you are? |

Allo Muppet... Apart from that butt bustin seat the riding position, although different from the Uly naturally is not as wrist breaking as I was expecting, quite comfortable in fact. I never got as far as any twisties, because I did'nt want to aggravate the coccyx I broke skiing in March, what with my Texas tour just 3 weeks off. The bike handles very well and of course the big difference is that engine. I would imagine that on the kind of roads we traveled together in Switzerland that time it could be a lot of serious fun but our 'Racer' friends would probably prefer the R over the CR which I tested a while back but reeks too strongly of 'Rocket' for my taste. Let me know what you think of it when Riders have their up and coming Buell day. As I understand it they are waiting for the CR to come in for that. KIT. |

saw one at Bumpus in Tn a couple of days ago...losing the fairing definitely give you the 'I am here' presence on the bike....I like it. |

First let me say I love the looks of my Uly. Great looking bike but the CR is just so damn bad ass looking. My favorite Buell design. Pictures do not do it justice! I want one but wifey says not yet maybe in 2 years. |

When you stand in front of it the first thing that came to mind was an unlimited Hydroplane like Miss Budweiser |
