I know it has been gone over before but since I never had it happen I did not pay attention. Customer called,his M-2 has a "jump" leaving in first like it skips or jumps a tooth. Belt looks good, shifter adjusted etc. What else to look for? |

When mine did it, it was worn dogs. Pull the primary and trap door, pull the tranny, replace the offending gear pair. A lot of work, but nothing that is rocket science, and the parts cost is actually not that bad. Be glad its not an XB (you have to split the cases). |
