Wasn't exactly warm but fun.

It was for SURE fun, I never laughed so hard in a long time, even though I was shivering with cold at the last gas station !!!

Dana, you know Im just busting your stones right?Seriously there are a few folks in your chapter that are pretty cool & I genuinely like, yourself, Bomber, wes & stacey, jason & heather.

A couple others I really dont know & there are a few I could give 2 shits about. But the part about you guys really not riding very much is true. Hopefully that will change since you got the new bike. I extended an open welcome to the Brew city chapter for you. More than welcome to attend any & all rides. We had a number of em this year.

Dyna I know.Alot of us are either self employed or have small childeren like myself can't just get away when ever we like.As far as rides yes I want to see more thats being truthful. As far as Brew City is concerned since Dennis left for Green bay it the club looks kinda like its withering away.I hope it doesn't.

I agree that since Dennis left it has kinda sucked. We are inma state of flux with no real premanent leader for now. But that will soon change. Hopefully for the better.

We still got quite a few rides in this year tho.

Bads...Brew City isn't withering away. All the groups in WI had a rough year planning events compliments of the HD 100th and Buell 20th.

So many things to do and so little time for riding put a strain on all of us. We all have the same priorities...Family, Work, Misc., and riding comes at the tail end.

I believe that is one reason why a group like SEWER can work as it will draw from enough groups to have a decent attendance at each of the events.

Can't wait to get some input from the Uke's group on the SEWER Thread. Hope y'all give it some thought at this weekends get together and post some ideas.

?????????????????????????????????????????

Gotta go with CJ on this one. The first half of the year everything was organized oretty well & we had ecent communication. The last couple months have been pretty much nothing short of a cluster F___. Look at the attendance for the last 2 meetings. I dont really understand it but I see the same thing with the HOG groups. Here is how it goes with my own club, we have a core group of individuals who are always at the meetings, attend most of the rides, etc...I think they dont have jobs:D...anyways then you have the folks just on the outside who have been members for quite a while & attend a few meetings & will go on a ride or 2 if there is nothing better going on.

Then you have the newbies.the enthusiastic newbie who buys himself a bike & joins the club to get himself some buddies. Finds out that within the group are a lot of little cliques & this new rider never truly feels a part of the group. After a year or so they just fade away & you never see them again.

And the last faction is the folks who have been members for a number of years but are burnt out from the same old same old. Every year its the same runs to the same places using the same roads. They try & introduce new ideas but are ridiculed & shot down. A lot of HOG folks & their runs are almost set in stone & very resistent to change.

Not saying these are the only reasons but are the ones I have seen.

So true...The Two "C's"...Communications and Cliques can make, break or stagnate any organization.

Concerning Brew City, I stand by what I said. However, improved communications would benefit the majority and in this instance, the majority represent those that attend meetings only when they can and do not use the BWB. Ergo, Email and Snail Mail are the two vital organs to keep them in the loop. Kind of hard to participate when you don't know WTF is going on.

Now, would somebody kindly tell me why I am posting Brew City stuff on Uke's thread? Which group do you guys belong to? Hmmm...Oh well, the lesson applies to all.

Have a great day!
