It's on THIS weekend where I am (Dish Network, Washington, DC area) - Sunday at 11am. I've seen a couple episodes of this show (Scotland, where I rode for a week back in 2005...funny, it was sunny when THEY went!), and Spain (where it rained all the time for them). It's great to watch for ideas and to see different bikes in different places, especially the Uly, but the hosts are fairly annoying.

They rode Aprillas in Spain and Triumphs in Scotland.

Finally, Buell is doing something forward-leaning to promote their bikes. They need someone calling every morning show and news outlet to make sure if there's a story about the price of gasoline and the subsequent increase of two-wheel traffic, that Buell puts a demo bike into the story. Heck, they can use mine if I'm not.

I've marked my calendar to watch this program on Sunday July 13th at 10am. Cool.
Thanks for the heads up.

Cool, and the other episode is on today.

My tv listing called the uly a dual-sport, here we go again.

Feasting on Asphalt was good too.

Feasting on Asphalt made me very jealous, but seeing Alton Brown crash on his BMW was really odd - I couldn't figure out why it happened! I think he busted his arm.

Yeah I thought the same thing, they said a rabbit ran in front of him and I think he swerved that big touring bike too quickly while on a dirt road that had some mellow "whoops" in it.

Basically jack-knifed the bike in a combo of bumps, turn and dirt.

Should have made an impromptu rabbit stew instead.

I gained sooo much respect when he didn't let them cut his jacket. Obviously he can afford a new one- that just said real rider to me.

Pretty sure when AB was posting on ADV he acknowledged that the critter darting across the road in the narrative was simply comic relief.

There was no critter. He just had bad luck.

Just finished watching the ULY episode of trippin on two wheels(Tivo'ed) and it was great. About as good a commercial for the ULY as could have ever been. I especially liked the massive wheely away from the bridge after they ran out of gas in the first segment.

All three of the riders seemed to love our favorite motorcycle, even in the rain and slightly muddy conditions.

Thanks again to Dennis Gage and his son and other riding companion for a very good review of the ULY in some pretty interesting situations.

I saw that wheelie too...

Here's a parallel thread going on, with my thoughts:

I definitely loved seeing the bike on a bike-friendly channel. Hearing them start one and saying, "That's what MINE sounds like!" was priceless.

You're correct- 3) Hell no! There was no bunny. I just hit a bad patch and did everything wrong. We'd been riding 8 hours in the dessert and I was tired, dehydrated, gravel unsavy and way overloaded. I'm a better rider now and far better armed.
