Nuts, I'm taking the head coach fishing on Friday and in exchange he is taking me to his private stretch of Craigs Creek sometime next week as well as giving permission to fish anytime. WE ARE BACK IN BUSINESS on Craigs!! |

Turns out, the place is only open on Saturday... I want some, but I can only do wheelies here. Nuts.. I read the report on the ride you put together, and I'm so there, You might have had the "Tank angel" looking over you. Next time i'll need it all for myself. When? |

P.s. I need to tweak the suspension, and I can't do that here. I need real bumps and Jumps! A couple miles up the first road we took last time should do the trick. |

By the time you make it back this way Tank, the trails will be open and we can use the "Jeep Trail" as a warm up. Hey, what about Hatfield McCoy? |

Pick a date. I need a couple weeks notice. Four would be better, but it's my vacation so f-em. I'd like to hang there for a couple days, and then head to WV to stay at KOA Kabin. |

Trails open on the 16th of June. We need to try and hit them on a weekday so we have it all to ourselves. I'll leave the date up to Nuts since he has to check his schedule. Nuts, Late afternoon Sunday sound about right for a ride? |

Man I am hesitant to tell you about the fishing but I'll go ahead and lay it out there. Had me 2 dozen large (course 3 were dead) and ended up catching 16 Smallies. Went over and pulled 3 minnows out of his bucket and caught 3 more for a total of 19. He caught 10 Smallies and missed about 3. Figures the fishing would be ridiculously good when I ain't got my pal with me. All this in about 2 1/2 hours. Thats alright though because as soon as he shows me his spot on Craigs you and me are gonna be in pickle paradise |

So ya don't bail on yer new friend huh? Catch em all up too. I bet he didn't lose a hook all day. Probably never made an errant cast. But does he know how to apply an epi-pen? For the record: the wind was wailing and old Turtlehugger still went out. He must have him a good buddy there. NUTS (no fishin, no fightin, no gunslingin) |

OK Jackie, what are you casting?........................1/4 sticks of dynamite I'm afraid I'm going to have to see this catch before I start saying great job.(pic please) You know you tend to embellish alittttttttttttle. |

Charlie, I use large shiners hooked through the lip with a slip bobber to control depth once I find where they are holding. I'm afraid there will be no pics since my camera isn't water proof and I tend to end up standing in water up to my waist. I ain't real good at much but fishing is one thing I can do well . Nuts, Here we go again. Went to the Avalanche game and I had a wonderful time with the wife and kids. As soon as I walk in the door my mom freakin' explodes about how we can't do anything right. Escalated to the point where she is screaming the GD word at me and talking about how she wishes she never moved in. Tomorrow we are gonna discuss options to either call her bluff or get her out of here. I can't stand the tension anymore and the stress is slowly killing me. Regarding the fishing I'll publicly state that no one can take your place as my fishing/hunting buddy. The guy may be more accurate with his casts but not as much fun to carry on with. I took him fishing with the sole objection of getting us access to Craigs again. On a brighter note, just a few more pounds and I'm on the left side. |

Ole NUTS put 170 miles on Suzi yesterday. Other than chunking the rear tire she ran flawlessly, though I did keep her under 60mph. Another week of fun-n-games and I'll be able to look at my work schedule to see when we can get the Tankster out here again. Priority this week is getting street tires on Scarlett and some new seat foam for Suzi. That seat is torture! Being 6'3" and standing at 50 mph on route 11 only lasts so long. Ya know they have been known to ticket for that. NUTS |

Tickets aside, that seat is murderous. Scarlett is a sofa in comparison. But, oh, how I love it when Suzi rolls back on one wheel when I ask her to in third gear. Coming soon, more stupid NUTS tricks... |

If you'd put some weight on that skinny a$$ it might be more comfortable . I like the seat on mine. Seems like it has developed a sweet spot over the course of a few hundred miles. That or I am morbidly obese. |

Nuts, Ken and Brian aren't coming this weekend due to the heat. Should free us up for a ride on Friday. Gotta pick Kali up at 3:40 but can be ready to roll by 4:00. With the heat I don't know if I could go much earlier anyways. If that is too late for ya' then maybe the gun club is in order. |

NUTS, really good to see you today, thx for letting us drop in unannounced like that. sure was nice to get back to the coolness of the Parkway, thx for the expert guide service. :-) burgers at Tuggles Gap were yummy (i sure wish some biker-savvy/biker-friendly folks would buy that place and emulate Stations Inn down in Laurel Springs...), and there are another 220 or so miles showing on the RK when me 'n D *really* shoulda been working. ahhh, the perils of being self-employed... hope to see and ride with you again soon, and also cool to finally meet Seth/Raven today, too. :-):-) ride to lean, FB&D |

FB&D, it was my pleasure to "unplug" yesterday and ride over to meet you. Sorry there wasn't a Helicon motored beast for you to jump on too. We'll have to see if we can all get to the glider-port one day and see if they'll tow four of us up and let us "dogfight". Don't even think about calling me "goose"! I'll see you both next go around, hopefully you'll have the 1250 Virago tamed up by then. NUTS |

Nuts, Ribs are great..........Had some for lunch yesterday. Been kinda quite on here, thought you guys went fishing and fell in or something. Well finally got a new pipe for the 490, one that was made for it, a new carb.(eBay). now if I can get it jetted before the weekend we should be able to kick some butt. Y'all need to check your family trees before you head west(make sure there's no Hatfields or McCoys in there) wouldn't want one of you getting shot because of an ancestor. |
