When using ECMSPY you realize that during the cruising/learning range you are always at 14.7/1 AFR. On www.nightrider.com they sell a plug and play set up for Harleys. It is just a couple of simple resisitors put together with the proper disconnects that plug in between the O2 sensors and the wiring connectors. It fools the computer into thinking it's running at 14.7/1 when in reality it's at 14.2/1 AFR. I'm just curious if this would work on the Buell. I realize that Harley uses a different FI system but fooling a computer is just that. Anybody tried this yet? |

They sell those things on ebay. There is no point, as it hurts MPG and HP. Your best bet is to tweak your map with ecmspy, its more precise that way |

I understand reduced mileage but not HP. A 45 degree V-twin is usually happiest at 14.0/1 afr. My neighbor has an 08 Road Glide and had heat and running issues. I told him about the plug and play and he got them and plugged them in and all problems are gone. That's why I was curious if anybody tried this on a Buell. |
