I am in the process of putting some steel 7/8" CR low bars on my Uly. I am waiting on a 1" riser from Precision Engineering so that the new bars will clear the upper fork caps.

While comparing the stock and CR low bars, I noticed how much lighter the stock bars felt. I weighted both the stock bars, the CR low bars and an old steel supper bike bar that I had laying around.

The stock bars were nearly half the weight of the CR bars and a lot lighter then the super bike bars even though the SB bars were less wide and devoid of a cross bar.

I think that I will have to sand down the plastic bar caps to get them to fit inside the CR low bars.
