I would like to put a Drummer on my 08 Uly, will I need to do anything to the fuel injection so it does not run lean? I just want the sound, not worried about a few HP but I do not want any rideability or reliability issues? I have looked around the site but I see very little about the 08 fuel injection and exhaust changes so I would really appreciate any advice.

I'm in the same boat. I was just about to post the same question, except I'm looking into a Special Ops which retains the stock valve. I'm getting it installed on my new '08 at the dealer(haven't even picked it up yet - not till end of March - too flipping cold!). The dealer tried telling me that I should get the Race ECM and all that jazz for an extra $400 or so or else my bike would run like arsh with the modded pipe. I told them to just go ahead and put it on and we'll see what happens. I even emailed Olie and he said it will run fine. From what I've read there aren't even any Race ECMs available for the '08s (different size and connector pins) let alone any new maps for the '08 stock ECM. From all the reading i've been doing, looks like the stock ECM should work fine. Worse case we might need to "sync" the ECM/TPS by doing the WOT/CTL x3 trick if it runs really bad, but the new ECM should compensate for the new air/fuel mixture automatically.

It'll run just fine, with more power too. The ECM will compensate. I've also put a K&N filter on mine - which in theory may be too many changes (along with the exhaust) for the ECM to cope with, but it is lovely - no issues, great sound, and great performance.
I have a (UK) tubbs special - which is like the Drummer/Spec Ops. The exhaust valve is still in place, but just flaps in the wind inside the can so to speak. Eventually I'll remove the cable and servo and then use ECMspy to switch off the warning light.

Go for it.

Does anyone know if the UK mapping is different than the US? Or are all of the bikes the same? I am going to test ride and hopefully buy an 08 in about 3 hours!
