Discovering Hwy 318 in Nevada. Rode 125 miles and saw about 10 other vehicles other than the 3 guys I was riding with. Some long straights, some mountain passes, lots long bendies. One potential speed trap, Lund Nevada. I think the sheriff there blinked as we went by. |

Part of the ambience, Saintly... ...that's no ordinary bug--that's a Texas Flea! It was the "emergency instructions" that cracked me up... rt |

March Badness IV--One jar of eyeball juice. Buelltoberfest I--One front tire scorched by N. GA roads. Getting to meet several dozen Badwebbers face to face in a single year. Priceless! Thank you all for a great year. I look forward to meeting many more of you in 2008! |

Mine is easy, Throughout my youth and adult life I have been a big fan of motorsports of all kinds and I always wanted to be a part of the action. Since 2000 I've become more and more involved with motorcyling, track days, watching those races, etc. I attended my licensing school on April Fools Day in 2006 and decided to try my hand in CCS in 2007. Although I only raced three weekends on the schedule, I'm hooked and cannot wait to get out there in the spring. The competition was a riot and the racers I've gotten to know are great people. This February, I'll celebrate 51 years on the planet and I'm having the time of my life right now. To you younger guys, don't put things off too long that you really want to do but don't let a few gray hairs slow you down either!

Ralph. Great! Guys. Don't let Ralph's age and "newness" to racing fool you. He's fast! Grumpy. You're one lucky man. My highlights, for motorcycles, would have to be my first season on the XB9R race bike. 5th place at RA for Homecoming in Thunderbike on a bone stock bike. My 2 podiums (3rd's) at my regional CCS races. Ending up 4th overall in LW Supersport and 5th overall in Thunderbike for the year. Hanging with all the Buell riders and fans. Helping out in the pit's for Jamesgang racing for 2 rounds of the Moto'ST series. (planning to do more next year) But most of all the rides with my Son on the back of my Uly and the wife in tow on her 9S. We didn't do much group riding this year. It just never really happened. But we did a lot of rides with just the 3 of us. Makes me really hate this white stuff on the ground!! As much fun as 2007 was, I'm hoping 2008 kicks it's @ss! I also hope Blake let's us type the word ass since we can type the word shit, which seems a whole lot worse to me!~ Holy crap! When did this change occur! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! getting through my first full year doing what i've wanted to do for the past 28 years. meeting the greatest bunch of people that this planet has to offer worldwide. not getting to banged up after wrecking the 12scg and although the motor on the m2 had to be totally rebuilt, it's finally back and most of all, seeing my family is doing okay. |

Although I could say "riding the 1125R on the track at Barber", I'd be lying. That was an experience of a lifetime, but my favorite for the year was riding the Georgia twisties with all youse guys at Buelltoberfest. That was the best riding I've been able to do all year. Riding all day to Dandridge TN with my sweetie on my Shovelhead was allright too... (Message edited by 86129squids on December 25, 2007) |
