Little furry animals would burst into flames in front of you. Piles of leaves would start fire. |

Those aren't lights. Those are intakes for the motorcycle equivalent to the Marine Corps new Osprey aircraft.

For boiling the water in mountain streams after using his fish finder to catch some dinner. Likes it pre-cooked. |

Only a BMW owner should strap on lights like that. I can't imagine that the alternator could drive those things. |

I thought of big lights like that but worry about busting up expensive PIAA lights in a fall. I'd be a fool if I didn't think I'd ever lay it down. |

Yeah,I swapped the wires over to get both original headlights working on main beam a while back and now I loose the two lower 'driving lights' (on a relay so they come back with a toggle of the switch) when I put it on main beam as the four 55W bulbs light up together. I'm gonna swap the wires back in the hope to get the driving lights to stay on with main beam (I'll be lucky to get 5x55W all together!),at least with 3x55W instead of 4x55W there's less drain eh? We'll see,it's all in the setting up/fine tuning stage at the moment but I'm now looking forward to riding un-lit roads, good stuff. PS Froggy, neat lightbar on the orange Uly,yours? Bob,that's the first steering damper I've seen on a Uly-did you fit it 'cos of the 6" spots? lol. Ulyssesguy,I deliberately didn't take a pic of under my headlight panel-can you say spagetti nightmare? I hate to think what the mechanic is gonna say when he does my 10,000mile service (due soon)-he didn't 'get' the matt black and rubber matting on the forks, etc when he last saw it and it was mild then, compared to now. |
