I have a 99 S3 with a Vance Slip on. I have now cracked the front mount on the pipe 3 times, and am getting tired of having it welded. I called a dealer and they said the new bike mount was $95, my buddy has an 02 M2 so I have seen what they look like. Instead of buying the new mount they suggested buying a urethane bushing. Do they work or am I better off shelling out the cash? Or perhaps customizing the front mount on the pipe? Thanks for any help, Matt |

Get the new mount. Absolutely necessary on the tube frame bikes they fit on. |

Bought the new bracket and had it installed by the dealer as preventative maintenance last year. Figured it was cheap insurance and have not been disappointed. Much better than not knowing if and when the mount on the can will let go. |
