I know this has been gone over before but as I was not an S-1 owner I did not pay attention. I would like a factory style battery for my new S-1.
Need a kickstand,too.Thanks.

Jim,
To be honest, the best battery I have found is from HD... I know its pricey, but, for some reason, the other ones, just dont seem to hold up.

Yes original HD provides stronger (better) voltage than most others.

My HD battery is almost 10 years old and still working.

But you can't get the original battery for an S1 from Buell, you can only get the Blast battery conversion.

Al, your S1 is sweet!!!

How did you colored the frontdisk?
I wanted to blackpowdercoat it, but don't know how to loosen those 'rings'..

And your frontforks are nice too.

Al,thanks, that was what I remembered. Can not get correct battery anymore.Have you used that replacement one?

Forks are black anodized, lots of work.

Disk is no longer powdercoated. The folks that did it got powder into the buttons, and the disc warped.

Yea, I've had that one in for several years now. It's time to replace it, though, its starting to get a little weak.
