Let me know when & where Chad. I have Family in town this weekend but I have been known to ignore them for a ride! Welcome Steve, ask us anything (just not about women)

FYI:
Chances are good that I will be taking yet another ride to Idaho City this saturday morning. Usually am at Chevron by Micron Fuelled and ready to leave by noon. Hopefully there wont be a mob of cars killing all the corners AGAIN!

Even if you stop and talk for quite a while, you will have plenty of time for Idaho City. Hope you guys have fun, I'm playing with my son all weekend. I'll catch you next time.

Hey Mike, how old is your son? I was going to bring one of mine with me, unless it was going to be a wild ride, but to Idaho City, it doesn't sound like it, you might bring yours along aswell. So far all my kids love to ride with me, even the toddlers.

He's two. He loves the bike, but it will be a little while before he rides with me. He'll have his own bike in a couple of years if he wants one though.

Uhhh....I am sitting here trying to picture mikes son on the back of his lighting while mike has a knee dragging around every corner.......lol

Chad; The last three weeks in a row Idaho City has been a pretty calm ride considering the amount of cars that seem to be flogging the road and killing all the corners. Also Im always open to meeting up a little earlier if necessary.

My 2 year old would be squeeling with glee, but I'm sure my wife would kill me. LOL. if the ride is a bit agressive, I would go by myself, but I was never a kneedragger in the sense. I do love a good ride. So should I leave the youngster home? He is 8 and holds on well.

Im not a knee dragger either......but then again I dont have disposable pucks on my pants either so I have never bothered with grinding off my knee caps. I'm a pretty laid back rider for the most part, I will on occasion blast off on a few of the turns out there. If your comfortable bringing your son I'd say go for it, you know the Buell isnt going to be bothered by it and he would probably get a kick out of the ride..........besides there's ice cream waiting in Idaho City.....LOL!

Thats ok Jeremy, there were lots of bikes there, myself and Bill showed, not to mention that Boise Riders set up a ride at the same place and same time, what a coincedence, turned out fun anyway.

Nice group of riders Saturday, lots of interest in the Buell's. Pretty conservative ride cept for the 70MPH downhill wheelies from hilltop!

Hi guys... Stephanie with High Desert here.

I have several motorcycle clubs setting up informational/recruiting tables at High Desert during our Grand Opening Celebration July 20 & 21.

Is BAB interested in a space? There is no charge but you will need to provide your own tables, chairs, pop-up, & staffing.

If you decide you'd like a spot, let me know and I'll put you on the map. The hours are Friday 8:30-7:00 & Saturday 9:00-8:00. If you'd like to do just one day that's OK too.

Also... Curly Weber is the H-D Exec/Buell Racer who wants to ride up to Bogus with the group. We are lending him a bike. How do you feel about escorting him from High Desert in Meridian Friday, July 20th with an 11 or 11:30 departure time?

Thanks for your time!

Stephanie

I don't know about the recruiting spot yet.

However, I know I want to show Curly around, I rode with him quite a bit at Miller for Buell's last trackday. He is a great guy, and an amazing rider. It would be an honor. I'll even take the day off from work.

If someone stops by Muggsy's in Meridian tonight...I will have a small stack of BAB flyers that I printed up some time ago. If no one stops by I will try to drop them off at HDHD myself afterwords.

BVR will be at Muggsy's (6:30-8:PM) selling raffle tickets (1-$15, 4-$50 & 10-$100 ticket prices!
) for a 2007 VStar 1300 to benefit The Greater Idaho Red Cross and promote our Ride 4 the Red two day event coming this August at Lake Harbor.

I was planning on taking the day off aswell, its not every day that you can ride with a professional. Besides maybe he can give some input on making the bikes better. Not that there could be much.

In response to Jeremy's question -- The ride route you guys & gals choose is completely up to you. Curly wants to see our state from the perspective of people who ride it.

We'd like Curly back to the dealership sometime in the afternoon but if you'd like to take him up Lowman, I think that'd be a great ride too. Leave at 11, back by 2 or 3?

Just let me know what you decide and I'll make sure Curly & Marianne (our factory Buell rep) are ready.

Yeah going to Lowman would be fun, but whatever works for them works for me.

Anyone going out riding this weekend? I would love to get out for a while. Let me know.

I will be riding to Black Canyon saturday morning but thats just to meet up with some people to go wakeboarding.

Chances are I am going to try for another ride to Idaho City on Sunday just depends on how beat up I am from wakeboarding saturday.
