Since it is so easy to find Bad service, I wanted to take a moment to point out good service. My wife's 2007 Blast developed a rockerbox gasket leak. Fortunately it is under warranty(otherwise I'd just fix it myself, but time is in short supply.) I called California Harley Davidson/Buell in Harbor City and scheduled the service. For a service department, there is probably no less profitable way to spent a techs time than on a warranty repair like this, on a Blast no less. They gladly took it in and delivered it before my wife got back into town and would need it back for her commute (with the Independence Day Holiday thrown in there.) So my thanks go out to Woody and the rest of the crew at California H-D for taking care of us. |

I've heard a lot of good things about California HD. Some day I hope to check them out. |

CA Buell/HD did the sidestand recall on my Ulysses without any complaint, even though it was bought in Reno. (I bought it used.) They appear to be very busy, service wise, as I had to make an appointment (2 weeks wait) then leave the bike there for 3 days, to get the work done. Seemed like a one day job to me; but what do I know... |

I'll vouch for Calif HD/B. There is a warm, friendly atmosphere present in this Service Dept that seems strangely absent in most other HD shops. They replaced leaking fork seals, worn fork bushings, guides and dust caps on my Firebolt. They not only got the job done well but washed the bike too. It took a day longer than planned because they had to acquire a dust cap that was not in stock, but by the third day, it was finished. Ask for Walt; he's the Buell go-to guy in the Service Dept. |

I have had bad luck at California HD Sales dept, but have not tried service because of how rotten I was treated in sales. I plan on doing my 5K service with Skip Fordyce in Riverside, plus they will pick your bike up and drop it off for free if you have service done there and they have gottena Pegasus award. --Sean |
