i have a 98 s3 that i wanna replace the tank and tail section with s1 body parts but before i start scowering the swap meets i just need to know it they will fit?or maybe the S1 tail section will fit with my S3 tank? could use some help

You'll have to cut and weld your rear subframe to fit the S1 tail section. Your S3 tank will work just fine though.
