Rocco, thanks. But actually, the finish on the mount isn't the best. I was in a *REALLY* BIG hurry to get it done at the time. And ran the machine as fast as it would cut. Which is around 220 inches per minute. The one for Bomber and Wes will look a tad nicer. But thanks for the compliment. I enjoy making this type of stuff. Unfortunately, I just can't make a living JUST doing Buell parts  | ||

ME? I'm still here, just been busy, but things have slowed at the office which will hopefully give me some time to get the bike ready, plan for the new home, get the old ready to sell, etc. etc. Hey its friday, I've already had 2 beers, this is a good thing!! The boats in the water also!!  | ||

Rocco - Thanks for the help tonight. Hopefully we can finish it up tomorrow. Steve - Mount is in place and everything is where it should be. The bolt did go through from the bottom up (with some persuading - shaving about 1/16" off of that part would be about perfect) and bolted up with the engine nicely. Nice job and thanks again! | ||

Jason, thank you. I'll take 3/32" off that back face. I started cutting one right before I left work this evening. I also made one more change to it. Mainly for fixturing purposes. That's awesome that it works though. I may make a few more of both version, just to make a couple of spare bucks | ||

The mount looks nice on the bike Steve. We were a little concerned when the bolt wouldn't clear. Nothing a few "love taps" from a hammer wouldn't take care of though. | ||

Thanks Rocco, I'm starting to show the gray. I had a quiet day at home is all. Washed the truck gave the dogs a couple big bones to keep them busy. Grilled out some steaks and took it easy.   | ||

Awwh pictures of the puppies. Just looking to see what is going on. I am just taking a small break from school (now in my 7th course since last September)after this class I am taking a well deserved 2 week break only hoping for good weather. I was jonzing for the bike this past Saturday but had no time since I was doing a paper I am awaiting the results as I type this. Congrats on the new house Tom and Kelly!! Steve, you are correct! 1600 sq. ft house with 2 car attached garage. And then there is going to be the pole barn, size has not been determined yet. But with substantial working area and storage. | ||

BHF looks to be out - once again out of the country on a race weekend. Kinda sucks but at least I never had any delusions of running for a championship. Did fire the bike for the first time today though. Sounds good (great actually - just ask the neighbors). Can't wait to get out on it. | ||
