ok im walking away from bikes for awhile - gonna work on my 240z so the first of the stable to go is the money maker original 1996 buell s1 - but the original stats dont really apply in this case here is a quick rundown of the goodies: This is one of a kind custom bike - this bike has been completely rebuilt from the ground up engine and all the bearings. The engine is a Thunderstorm engine with the matching Chrome S1W exhaust with Chrome Supertrap racing muffler. Everything on the engine has been gone through including the heads with a new valve job top end and lower end.It has a Mikuni carb also the heads have been powder coated to match the frame and it has a polished and chromed high torque starter. The frame and rear swing arm mount are powder coated Baron Red. The rear swing arm is black. It has chrome Buell racing rear sets. Custom anodized rear Brembo brake caliper and anodized front buell 6 piston caliper. New Buell black front and rear rims with new Michelin tires. Custom Grey Corbin seat, custom Skull and Crossbones paint job. Carbon Fiber front fender, rear inner fender, custom carbon dash, carbon front pulley cover and carbon fly screen. Everything on this bike has either been anodized or chromed for easy cleaning. It has clip on handle bars and everything has been safety wired so it could be raced. Braided brake lines with new pads and piston have been rebuilt. New belt and list goes on and on. This is something you don't see even and all the bike shows. If you are into Harley Davidson and want some performance with it this is for you. This Bike has 2k miles on it since being built. message or call with offers all reasonable offers considered my yahoo email: jameel_ally@yahoo.com or leave me a message: 913.660.0596 its priced to move, pm me with offers

its located in kansas city numbers? you mean price? suggested retail for a '98 s1 white is just about $5k that's for the stock bike - this one is covered in custom paint work carbon etc engine is 2k old and pulls like a tractor brakes tires ... everything is top notch if i had to set an asking price, a hard number? it'd be $5k - and as we all know, money talks |

Sad to say but good luck with getting 4k for an 11 yr old bike, even though it has extremely low miles. Most buyers are looking for an ''untouched'' low mile buell. Accesorized (sp) and custom means nothing in the buyers land. I hate to say it but you'll probably make a better coin parting it out. Ofcourse just my .02 |

Don't let these guy bust your bike down, I don't care what the average price for one is, theres no way I would sell mine for less than 6,000. Want to trade it for a 73 240 Z w/a 400cid chevy, T5 trans, R200 rear diff, Miata seats and a ton of other stuff? Let me know, oh it has 4 piston front calipers w/ cross drilled rotors also, you need to call me, 661 979 0711 and ask for Wayne. PS, I do have a L28, 5speed and it runs great sitting in another car ready for swapin. (Message edited by 98s1lightning on April 14, 2007) |

why would anyone in their right mind put a 400cid chevy motor in a tiny little car like... wait... nevermind yea i know the bike is 'worth' about $7k - i've had a few offers, most in the 'average' price range, which is why i still have the bike ill call you later though wayne, 240 with a chevy heart is right up my alley |
