I never really plan a long loop, but when I'm solo I tend to look for roads I haven't traveled and before you know it I'm 100 miles out. Ended up in Meredith... talking to Dave and lookin' over there RR. Scott, where are you in the pic?...not sure I recognize it. Any place to meet for breakfast/lunch over there? Al |

Hey Al that is a little back road in Newmarket called Bennett rd. It follows the Lamprey river and is great fun at a whopping 45 mph! Sure there are always places to meet for breakfast and a ride! I know a lot of little entertaining roads like this that are great fun at or nearly at the speed limit. They go through neighborhoods so no need to cause an accident or a ruckus by screaming through. So I guess it depends what kind of ride you are looking for!

Scott, you'll have to pick a spot and time to get together...I never think to head over that way...When the weather is nice I always think there will be too much traffic. Maybe I'll have to check it out. Al |

I'll keep that in mind Al, traffic isn't (much) of an issue on these roads. Another one of my favorites is untraveled enough to just pull over for 5 minutes if you catch a car and you will have some clear roads, but again you can have fun between 35 and 50 mph...Not that I have anything against the high speed sweepers up north, just a different kind of ride that is close to home and cheap entertainment |

I'm still up for a ride... It never got above 48 at my house today, which I know is warm for this time of year but not warm enough for a long ride. Ya, it needs to be above 55 degrees in the sun to ride! |

Ya, I didn't go too far yesterday...was going to head east on 152, over to Scott's neck of the woods. Got as far as Raymond and called it a day. Found a couple backroads to get the blood circulating on the way home. Looks like a struggle today to get to 55, but I'll still meet at MHD Al |

152 is a nice ride Al, did you take it all the way to 125? I just got home from Mom's yesterday and have the kids this weekend, so no big ride for me today, but will probably take a short ride on one of my loops close to home.....Hope everyone else is already out there riding! |

Anyone go riding this weekend? Sunday was nicer than I thought. I was dressed a little warmer than I needed to be. Saw some Japanese sport-bikers out there. |

I had to clean out my bay in the barn to get my old boat inside. Once done I rewarded myself with a ride! It was 3 pm, but I rode for about 45 minutes without getting cold.... |

well the first ice storm has hit NH...guess its time to pull the battery!!! just looking to get a line on other NH riders to prep for spring rides. since buying my buell in Dec. i've gained a lot of opposition from my ridin buddies, i guess if they don't ride one they'll never understand. looks like i need some new riders who know what its like to own an amazing piece of machinery. |

I'm in Nashua... Not far from either of ya... Installed an upgrade on my S3 to the head breather vents. Installed the open air box and billet catch can on my XB12s. As soon as the weather turns good, I'll be ready to go. Lets ride! |

I too hear constant smack from non-Buell riders. Harley guys don't respect it, sport bike riders don't respect it, just other Buellers. I agree, the bike has it's quirks, but it sure is a nice piece of engineering. Definitely not your average bike. It is for sale though unfortunately. I've fallen for the Triumph 675. Not too many takers though, so I'll mostlikely still have it for the riding season. I'm in Manchester. I'll ride with ya guys once we thaw. |

Close call! I almost sold my XB. When it came down to it though, I just couldn't do it. So, I took it apart. I'm in the middle of fabricating/altering the tail section into a cheesegrater eliminator. Pretty easy, but the primer doesn't like the cold temps. Lots of wait time between coats. I debadged the air box, and am trying to find some nice, aftermarket turn signals that actually work. Have some LEDs, but they don't blink, just stay on and make the idiot light light up. Next I'm going to go see Al at MHD for some plugs and oil. Getting restless! Hopefully, I'll be able to meet up with the Sunday MHD crew one of these days. Hope everyone had a nice off-season. |

Where is everyone? Not over at NEBO are ya? Just kidding, NEBO is great, just wanted to create an additional forum for local riders. My tail section is almost completed. Waiting for the paint to dry, then I'll install it. I ended up puting stock rear turn signals in the front and rear. They look good, and work properly. I also put a bulb in the European marker light socket located between the head lights. Looks cool when the key is in park as well as at night with the head light on. The off light has a glow. Well, I thought it was getting warmer. Oh well, heading off to Cancun with my fiance for a little while. Later! |
