The OFFICIAL wedding invitation (from the WSMC Newsletter) - this will be Saturday the 14th:
quote:Jane Schwartzkopf (# 678) and Ken Ryder (#750) cordially invite all WSMC racers, crew members, staff and friends to their wedding taking place following Saturday night’s SOLO races in the HOT PIT Lane. The civil ceremony will be conducted by Steve Slaughter (WSMC 604) with running commentary provided by, who else? David Koenig! Immediately following the ceremony, riders are invited to join the newlywed couple in a cerimonial parade lap around the Historic Willow Springs Track. Following the ceremony will be a reception with burgers provided by the bride and groom. Music will be provided by WSMC 883 - Disk Jockey Jeff “Slipp” Dixon. Jane and Ken requested that ALL riders come to the ceremony in their leathers.
Note: the parade lap does NOT require race gear or tech inspection BUT you must have a helmet and common sense riding protective gear. RACERS are requested to ride in their leathers. NOTE: this is a Civil Ceremony. I'm deputized to perform a CIVIL ceremony - I AM NOT ORDAINED!!! (there's been some confusion about a religious conversion but the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster doesn't ordain anybody) |

Good point, Court -- perhaps a better rendition would be "at last a church with whose dogma I do not disagree" two different things, truely signed The Reverend Bomber Ordained, 1974 Mother Earth Church San Louis Obispo, CA |

Slaughter/Bomber: does either of you do exorcisms? I think there's some evil spirits residing in that motor I bought from FMJ... rt |

>>>>Slaughter/Bomber: does either of you do exorcisms? They do . . but not on the magnitude you'd need. I know where the motor came from. It has in it a bit of it's builder. . . I've never seen his head spin but I saw the pea soup deal late one night in Nevada. Pea soup? . . Okra. . . one you toss a dozen PBR's on it and blow chow what's the differerence anyway? Kinda cool the Way Hendrix and all the big names met for the first time at Monterey . . those were fun times. Yeah . . I'm listening to Cream. |

I've seen scotch and okra. Took two flushes before it vanished too. Exorcisms are best left to the experts. I tend to overtorque |
