I just noticed something... Upon looking at the T.W.O. website, I noticed that they don't open until March 30th... I was planning on arriving on Thursday the 29th... Will I be bumming on thrusday night?? I guess I could give them a call and see if I can still show up and set up on the 29th. | ||

Will I be bumming on thrusday night?? GT and Britt (owners of TWO) know we are coming. They use this event to kick off the riding season. They are some of the most hospitable people on the planet and I will imagine all will be welcome on Thursday. | ||

I shot them an email yesterday saying I would be there Thursday night sometime and would probably be at their door begging for coffee on Friday morning. Haven't heard back from them yet, but I'm sure they'll be expecting to see us start trickling in on Thursday. I've already read here where several of us plan to do so. | ||

I wouldn't want to have them do extra work for me. We could easily cook up some coffee and breakfast for friday morning. I just want to make sure that they don't mind us being there over thursday night. My travel plans would get me out there early thrusday afternoon. So I could just plan on bringing something for myself to cook for thursday dinner/friday breakfast. | ||

I know, I mainly don't want to impose on them showing up early like that. I am bringing a lot of food and supplies, so I can fend for myself (and you guys too for that matter if we need to make our own breakfast). I was planning on just parking somewhere out of the way and sleeping in the truck Thursday night, so I technically wouldn't be "camping" the day before camping is allowed. You guys let us know if this is a no-no with the hosts and I'll adjust my leave time to arrive first light Friday instead of the middle of the night Thursday. Anybody get ahold of them on the phone today? Still no answer on the email I sent yesterday. I gather they're country folks and the resort is technically closed right now, so it wouldn't surprise me if we didn't get an answer right away. No big deal. We've got six weeks to figure it out. What's the availability of electricity in the camping area? Anything within extension cord reach or do I need to plan on primitive camping? | ||

luke, sorry i missed you guy's, was in florida. i'm sure hammer took care of you. he changes tires faster than most shops. livnlo, the place looks pretty cool. since we're leavin wed night we should be there early am on thursday. figure 11-12 hours from ny, not sure how far you are from our starting point. what time are you guy's rollin out and how long will it take you to get to ny? we're hopin to on the road no later than 8pm(earlier if possible). | ||

Depending on when Livnlo and crew gets to us Massholes we should be passing through NY about 8pm. I believe that we are leaving ~5pm but like I said that is going to depend on the NH folks | ||

I don't believe T.W.O. will have a problem with those of us arriving on Thurs. I don't expect the Lodge will be open until Fri, but those of us arriving Thurs will be extra $$$ in camping fees for them!! If anyone contacts T.W.O. and finds they don't want us setting up Thurs night, please post it here. I still plan on arriving Thurs and if T.W.O. is closed for camping, I'll stay in Dalonaga. | ||

Well, I plan to climb on my Uly on Wednesday morning and start riding in a generally southerly direction. Sometime Wednesday evening, I'll stop and get a cheap motel room. Thursday, I'll make it into Suches; or Dahlonega, if TWO is closed. | ||
