Gonna need some new tires in 1k and figure if I can't ride, I might as well buy crap for the bike!

Any web Tire Vendors that are recommended lately? I suppose I'm going to switch to the Pirelli Syncs and see how that goes. Mileage is fairly grim on the Dunlops, though I have a habit of grabbing a chunk of throttle.

This thing will find dirt often, so if someone wants to talk me out of the Syncs, I'm listening. The swimming on the Dunlops is present but it doesn't bother me "that much".

I have had good luck with swmototires as well. Last two sets came from there. Almost time to order another couple for an upcoming summer trip. Like to keep a spare or two at the house, keeps me from running them to the cord.

I bought my last set of 616's from Iron Pony since SW was (still is) out of stock on the rear.http://www.ironpony.com

Ronayers http://www.ronayers.com/catalogs/tires/parts.cfm?s ecid=3&type=54 has some good sales on Pirelli Syncs right now that you may want to check out. I've bought tons of parts from them and they have always had good service, although a tad on the slow side.

On a side note, after picking up a nail this weekend I replaced the rear tire on Monday. 616 rear took 1oz of weight to balance, even after trying it in three positions. It seems the Buell rims are well balanced and the 616's not so much. First radial tubeless tire I've changed by hand, was surprised how easy it went, except for the balancing.

Check with Cyclegear, if one is local to you. They've been advertising the D616 in their sale fliers for a couple months now. Looks like they're trying to get rid of them.

Those Mich Anakees look interesting.

Sure wish BMC would lobby Mich, Dunlop, and others to make them in our size!

I have used ronayers.com for my last several tire purchases. I have yet to find any one cheaper on any tire I have bought.
