There were no new Buells introduced this morning at the dealer show. The introed the New Nightster It is new Sportster model but not the XR. It is more of an old school chopper looking Sportster. Cut down fenders, no tail light, the lights are in the turn signals. Side mount lic. plate bracket | ||

What racetrack are they talking about? Looks like a poor man's chopper to me. Like a mini big twin, which is not what the Sportster was. LAME | ||

It's dumb but... back then you basicly had a choice of a full dresser or a sportster. The sportster was the lighter and easier to handle bike, so female riders would usually choose that. Good luck trying to break that mentality to your average American Chopper or Great Biker Build off watching rider that most likely wouldn't even be on a bike if it weren't the"cool thing" to do. | ||

If I'm not mistaken, Sonny Barger rode a Sporty. He's not a chic. At least, not one I'd be interested in, not that there's anything wrong with that. You know, I have to say it does kind of grow on me. I already don't dislike it as much as I did at first. At this rate, I'll really like it next year. | ||

SPorties are the best performing HDs (though I've not ridden the mid-control Vrod) -- hands down . . . . . . the whole "chick bike" thing makes me chuckle | ||

A little help please, no new Buells means what?? IS Buell broke? Are we all gonna be left to fen (sp?) for our own bike parts in Randys pick a part? Does this mean there is no 08 line or is it too early to tell? Forgive me for I know not what I am asking, just that I dont know what the hell "no Buells introduced this morning" means. | ||

Usually new Buells are announced in July. Hmmm Homecoming is in July this year....the XB9R was discontinued....25th anniversary is coming up....1+1+1+1=X? (Message edited by Indy_Bueller on January 29, 2007) | ||

Vane -- it would have been very unusual for a new Buell to be released today (or any not-July day) -- HDI seems to have a policy of keeping HD and Buell model releases separate so, what does it mean? likely nuthing at all | ||

The crowds to which new models appear are vary significantly. Buell recently did a rare mid-year release with the Buell XBR Super TT. Harley-Davidson, conversely, released nothing that day. So what it means is . . . well "nuthing at all". Hey wait. . has that been saidified previousity? |
