Just polished my race header to a "chrome-like" sheen. Someone suggested that I use "dyno-kote" to preserve the shine and prevent it from discoloring from heat. My first question was will it hurt the O2 sensor? and second was if it eventually started to flake off will it damage anything? This coating is designed to prevent chrome pipes from turning blue. Since it has insulating properties I thought it might just drop some of the heat at my legs as well.

What did you do to get the race header to a "chrome-like" sheen?
