Looks like Earl Smalls found an orange 06 in a crate and there is used 06 with bags at Blue Moon BMW in Norcross for $8900. Not sure of the mileage. Anybody know who traded it in and why? |

Gtmg,I did buy the '06 from Blue Moon yesterday.Yehaw! The previous owner was Jeffrey Wilson who traded it in on a BMW.I work with the tech who serviced the bike and installed the side cases on it.He said Wilson road it to California and back without incident. I have an '07 seat and airbox on order and will order a Firebolt fender,Lightning headlight bracket, manual and parts book today. The bike has a Touratech GPS suspension mount that I would like to sell when I get it removed. It also has a taller windshield,15" that I want to test a bit further. It seemed to cause helmet buffeting and if I raised up it quit.I may sell it also. Now I'm off to ride to work and show off my new prize. Mike |

Congrats Mike. I thought it was a pretty good deal. We will have to ride together. I want a larger shield but not that big. There is quite a few of us now in the Marietta area. Mike G. |

> Firebolt fender Hey, if you're replacing your fender, Smokescreen might want the stock one. He's been looking to Uly-ize the front end of his XB9S. |

Oh, and speaking of windshields, I have the taller Buell one if anyone wants to try it out. For me, it puts the air stream too high (right on my chin) and causes head buffeting. |

Augusta GA HD also has a couple Ulys on the floor. Russ in sales fixed me up with a good deal, and just had it serviced the other day with no complaints. Good dealer for sales and service if interested. |

I just went out this past weekend and found some trails off of Wolfpen Gap Road. How many Ulys are there around Atlanta? I'd love to go on a group trail ride. This weekend I wanted to go further down the trail than I did, but I was alone and nobody knew where I was. So I turned around and headed back towards the asphalt... |

I stopped by Smoky Mountain HD in Maryville, TN this weekend and they had 5 or 6 06 Ulysses in stock. Not sure if they'll deal on the price (they were all still marked at MSRP) I'd also love to meet up with some other ATL area riders and hit some unpaved stuff. I'm a dirt n00b and really don't like the idea of venturing too far off the beaten path by myself just in case something bad happens. |

Ok, well, is anyone up for going this Sunday? I am not an experienced dirt rider either, but I'm willing and eager to learn. |

Mike - Congrats on the new bike. Next time I get to Suches we will have to venture on fire roads as well as burn the curves. |

You guys talking about TWO and Wolfpen Gap are really making me sick.Been 2yrs. since I was down there playing and staying at TWO. Good food at TWO and down to the square in Dahlonega. Nice area to stay and shoot up to NC. Have fun guys. Be back in 07 for sure. Gearloose |
