Hey, I'm for spectators coming to the races no matter what it takes. Maybe the drunken madness was keeping folks away, and maybe it was what brought them. Ever been to a MotoGP in Europe, or the LeMans 24 hour? Sheer madness. So, I think it is hard to say what will get more attendance, but I sure hope a lot of people come to watch the FX race, and to have a good time! Are there a lot of Southeast Buellers going to root for Jeremy? |

Are there a lot of Southeast Buellers going to root for Jeremy? Oh yea. I liked Jeremy anyway. Then John Warr sent me a Tee shirt. Now I'm incurable. |

I read about the fans at the motoGP in Itally. There were drunken bands of revelers roaming around beating up anybody on a scooter. Then there were the guys who mounted engines with megaphones on wagons so that they could bounce them off of the limiters all night long. Wine is a dangerous drug! Don't drink the rotten grapes? I would still go in a heartbeat if I could come up with $5,000 somewhere. I just wouldn't be caught dead riding a scooter. jd |

Calling all Atlanta locals: Is there any place to camp close by (but not inside) the RA facility. My buddy really didn't like the experience last year. Hell, I can sleep anywhere, and I love to wake up smelling race gas in the morning. Thanks, jimidan |

Jimidan - Stone Mtn has camping and is a rather fun place to stay. I don't know how far it is from there to Road Atl though. |

Stone mnt camping is really cool. I think its more like 1hr away, check mapquest.com drive time-miles away. They have some power areas with water and showers. Lake Lanier Islands are also good and has shower areas and tables. Camp by the Boford Dam area. Its only about 15-20 minutes away from the track. Gwinnett place mall area off of 85N isn't bad. Hotels from 60 to 120 and about 20 minutes away. I'll be at the track from friday A.M after the first wave of Racers/campers roll in and stay until sunday evening. I drive a silver dodge ram 4x4, look for the Buell and racing stickers on the back of the cab. The wife will there on sunday. Nicholas is sittin' this race out. I live about 30 minutes (Lawrenceville) away in good traffic. I have about 1+ acres with plenty of room for a tent, truck and trailer. I have drop cords and fans...everyone is welcome if you can't find a good spot. |

Yo Glitch, I've got my kitchen pass extension request submitted to higher headquarters as I type. So, I don't really know I spent last weekend at VIR and today I spent nearly 12 hours gone running BRP/181/221/etc with U4 and Spectrum,,,,I may be pushing it a bit here, but I'm still going for it. I'm thinking I need to go buy her something 'spin-sieve before I get an update. G2 |

Badweather Report: And I mean, Bad Weather! The National Hurricane Center Advisory predicts that Hurricane Ernesto will be sitting on the doorstep of Miami on 2:00 AM Wednesday, and Daytona Beach, FL at 2:00 AM Thursday, with sustained winds of 73 MPH. How do you guys think the XBRR will run with a good tail wind...a really good tail wind? I may hold off on ordering my Will Call tickets for a couple of days. jimidan |

Whodom sez: "Are the 3%'ers lining up anything special for the race?" Since I haven't heard anything about any activities at the track or otherwise, am I to assume that the 3%'ers have NOT planned anything? (yeah, I know it was a double negative). I guess I should also pack my Ducati shirts for the hospitality tent, as I know they will be there in force. It looks like that the hurricane will be well past Atlanta on Friday. I may have to take a more westerly route to the track on Thursday than through Deals Gap though. The weekend looks pretty good. jimidan |

I asked Black_sunshine what's up? He Emailed and talk to Court. Not sure on details,I'll ask B_S to post updated news on any plans. We(3%ers) have a small gathering at R.A and every year it gets bigger. I'd like to do something 'SPECIAL' but haven't been told or asked to do anything yet. We can line up a group picture for all the Buell fans on Saturday like we did at VIR. Maybe somebody that gets there earlier than I can (Thursday/Friday), ask to see if you can put up a sign at the WARR'S Buell Pit area announcing something like this: (insert Buell Racing Logo here) BUELL RACE FANS MEET HERE DURING THE LUNCH BREAK ON SATURDAY, SEPT 2, FOR A GROUP PHOTO WITH JEREMY MCWILLIAMS. We had a nice turnout at VIR just on word of mouth, with some signs it should be even better. If there is enough interest we can all meet for dinner somewhere after the race Saturday Night. |

Hey Jose, are you riding down on a bike (S3 or Vrod?). It looks like it is going to be an interesting weather front stalled out over the track for the weekend. I had better bring my umbrella. The ride down could be a bit wet too. You ride from DC could prove to be a wet one too. Be careful! Rather than slog down through the rain on the Buell, I was thinking I might borrow Warren Jeffs '07 Caddy Escalade, and maybe one of his younger wives (he isn't going to be needing her anytime soon). I will bet that she has never seen an AMA race. Or not. jimidan jimidan |

Smoke, Not sure where I'm camping yet. They have Family camping T2 and T4 area. Infield 'A' camping is by the "Esses" area between T4 and T5. They have a big screen set up by T5 and T10. Set up at T5 and watch as they come by then look at the screen that shows T10 is cool. Infield 'B' is on the wild side, and the backstretch camping is what is ... I'll be in the family camping area or Infield 'A'. Its just me camping the family is staying at the house. Shelley will come up on sunday. I think Sam and Charlie are camping also. Last year I backed the truck behind the stands at 10B, we grilled out some food and I put the Buell banner up. For anyone who wants to give me a ring at the races here's my cell # is 404-216-5269 Everyone 'ride' and drive safe. Ga State Patrol along with local L-E are giving no warning tickets. |

Right now, Linda wants to ride, I want to drive, so that means we'll ride down..... Probably the S3. Dinner: I was watching the Food network and they were talking about the place called "The Varsity" looked like fun. |

What's the weather forecast look like? If it rains, it's going to be bad news for Buell race fans... "Word that there would be no racing in the rain at Road Atlanta quickly spread through the paddock Thursday, and immediate reaction was mixed. Some were disappointed to hear the news, like Warr’s Harley-Davidson/Buell racer Jeremy McWilliams. McWilliams felt his vast rain racing experience would have equalized the performance of his V-Twin-powered Buell XB-RR compared with the four-cylinder machines that make up the vast majority of the Formula Xtreme class." http://www.roadracingworld.com/news/article/?article=26877 |
