I've got a custom suit on it's way. So, here is Dainese's mostly D-Stone two piece racing/touring suit. Cut like a racing suit, but it's mostly textile, so I'm not sure that it's track legal... it'd probably be a track to track thang. $350 includes the jacket insert back protector and minty fresh pucks. This was an $800 suit, but nobody dug the neoprene wet suit look. This suit breathes incredibly well, better than perf'd leather. Black with red and graphite details.I've owned this suit since new, with the exception that it was bought by a friend, but I loved it so much that I bought it back a few months later. Never down and still in excellent condition (I'm a wimp on the road).

I've got a local guy (motogearusa, I wanted something extra special and he was the only one that would work with me. You getting Helimot or Z leathers? |

Originally I was going with all Helimot however the price was more than I could bare. So I got gloves, back and chest protectors from Helimot and the suit from Zooni's. Still need to pick up the boots which are about 500 and then my gear will be completely purchased. Oh you know there is another company that is called Z leathers that is not the same as Zooni's. Didnt find that bit of info out until last week. No luck in trying to get to Z leathers website though. I am browsing through the motorgearusa website right now. Looks to be good stuff. They are in San Francisco which is not far from San Jose. Any reason in particular you went with them over Zooni's or Helimot? |

Like you said... price. Well that and him accommodating my need for leathers fashioned after a stormtrooper's armor (star wars). His final price was as much as a deposit for Syed, Z leathers, Helimot and bates (checked them all). All of the other makers would only promise a white suit, Drew promised to make the suit look like the armor. I have owned a one piece of his before and the quality is good. |

I hope everything works out for you. I have been reading comments on Drew (motorgearusa) and his business practices. This is on the BARF website that these comments were being made. I would be a little scared buying from him but then again you have dealt with him before so I am sure everything will work out for the best. How long until you will have your suit. I would love to see how it turns out with that Storm Trooper theme. |

Yeah Drew and Uhmeebah... I know that story well. Woof. One of the biggest things holding Drew back is Drew. He is a bit gruff. And Uhmeebah is a big guy, almost 7 feet tall. It was a bad situation all the way around. Anyway, I'll let you know how the suit turns out. Back to it: SOMEONE BUY MY SUIT! |

Wow you know about that too!!! The internet is crazy huh? I am only on page 16 of the drew and uhmeebah saga. I think it's 25 pages total. I feel bad though cause drew did pretty much bend him over without even throwing any vaseline his way. Definitely post pics when you get those leathers! I cant wait to see them. I am going to post a few pics of all my new gear once I have it in hand. |
