It's far cooler than my '92 Honda VFR was. Still, any cheap fix to be more comfortable works for me. I'm trying the furnace tape fix first. Simple solutions are typically more my style. Try the link below, too. They're fabric heat shields that cover more areas. I've not got them, but they look to be high quality and should be effective. Others in these forums have used them and seem to be happy. I think it comes into play during the last few miles of a tank of fuel. Do I regret selling my '01 Tiger even with an S2 and S3 in the garage? I'd do it again in a heart beat! The heat is quite tolerable; even on the high temp days we had the past couple of weeks. Take one for a test ride. Wrapping the pipes helps tremendously.
