I'm finally swapping my front end from an S to an R. I've seen the great thread about how torqr and stealthxb did it (with help from odie?). But before I begin, I'm wondering if anyone can tell me what size "quickcerts" I should get. I'd rather order them in advance, instead of pulling the bike apart, measuring the thread size of the bolts and then waiting a week to get them. Any help guys? (as a reminder, this is what I'm talking about) ...
![](http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/32777/220639.jpg) if you're wondering why, well, I finally did my first track day last week, and when i rode my friends xbr it felt way better in the turns than my xbs (with crossroads). body position was a lot lower and able to get out to the side easier. also i liked being able to rest my forearm on the airbox. |
