330 miles so far. Noticed some drips under my bike- the oil filter was dirty w/oil so i tightened it a bit. Went on a 650 mile ride. Now I'm drippin' from the rear AND the front.
Now there's oil all over my new Buell race can-baked oil!
Pull the belly pan off, clean most of the yuck off.The oil reached the rear tire and rear brakes- that's why the rr brakes suck so bad! Farking mess...
The source of the leak is the front oil line fitting on the oil filter. Will call Dave S to see how much for rr pads. Not sure it's worth bothering with warranty- they want to hold onto it for two days.
However I do want to make sure the muffler will come clean.
Anyone else leaking/leaked?

Mine does the same but it sounds like to a lesser degree. I'll need to take the header off to replace the tape on that fitting (you're talking about the one just in front of the oil filter that goes to the cooler?). Not a huge job, but requires rotating the engine.

That's the one-rotate the engine? The fitting? i think you can turn the fitting if you remove the oil filter.
No it looks pretty simple- I probably will do it myself.
