I've noticed a sudden increase in vibrations felt through the foot pegs in that same RPM range, but wouldn't describe it as bad....just noticeable. (Message edited by eor on May 07, 2006) |

I think a couple of people have run into this before, and in both cases, I think the primary chain tension was out of spec... Does that ring a bell with anyone? |

The primary chain being too loose definitely causes an increase in vibrations on my S3. Easy to check and correct; I'd look there first. (Message edited by whodom on May 08, 2006) |

I've heard that a loose primary will cause shifting issues too. My Uly only has 3300 miles on it, and when I last checked my primary chain, it was fine. |
