Anyone know where I can try some Newfie Prepared Salted Cod Fish Cakes in the Milwaukee area? I have got to try some.

There's a few fish stores in the area, you can start there. There's one by Mayfair Mall on a side road down a few blocks, and another in Mequon. Don't know if they have salted cod though. I'll just stick with plank smoked salmon. I might be having some pickled fish in a few weeks though. If I survive I may relate the tale.

MikeJ...That's Empire Fish off Watertown Plank and I will give them a try. Was hoping Smith Bros might have something equivalent on their menu. Guess I will have to take a ride up and check it out. Thanks for the tip and don't forget the pickled fish report. Love the Herring, but have not tried any others.

If you go near Empire Fish, then head to North avenue and go east of hwy-100. There's a little ethno-deli-store there that may have salted fish. Or not, haven't been in it.

I recived a e-mail from Steve Anderson earlier today. He said he will try to get the editor to do something for the 20th in Cycle World. So if you know anyone at Cycle Work now is the time to bug the hell out of them. Also every one here call, mail or e-mail Cycle World and tell them you want to see a story on Buell's 20th Anniversary ;)

FYI...Peter Egan from Cycle World lives in South Central Wisconsin and has an HD in his stable. Would assume he would be a natural to do both the Buell and HD Anniversary articles.

I would think you might have an easier time finding someone from a mag like Iron Works or American Iron to cover it since they might just get into town a little earlier for the 100th. Just a thought

All you need is a writer to submit a proposal to the various magazines. Then offer to provide photos or suggest they send a photog of their own.
I'm not a writer yet, ThunderPress hasn't sent me the rejection letter for what I sent them.
