Can anyone recommend a competent Buell dealership in Chicagoland? All the horror stories about incompetence has got me worried about getting a service done.

Thanks.

I've had work done at both Lakeshore Harley-Davidson / Buell in Libertyville and Ukes in Kenosha. Both places do quality work.

I'll second the Ukes in Kenosha recommendation.

Thanks for the recommendations all.

Daves - From all the good things I hear about you I would really like to use your shop, but the distance might be a little too much for me right now. My tag light has self-destructed (as it has happened to many others here) and needs to be warranty replaced and I haven't even gotten 1,000 miles on it yet. It would be an awful long drive taking the back-roads up to you right now.

FWIW, I just paid for mine and even at the closest Harley shop it was still only 6 bucks...

Might to just grab one the quickest way possible and if so, it really should matter too much where you do.

Just a thought...
