Hey Chad, Thank you for asking. I can't make it on Saturday. I will be out of commission for some time now. I just had another surgery on my Right shoulder so I will be out for another 4 months at least. I can't wait to start riding with other Buellers also. I did get a Drummer installed on my 12R. I have the Race ecm and filter now too. I am waiting till I have full use of my arm this winter to put the parts in and get the TPS reset. I am also interested in joining the BRAG group at Bloomington HDB. I can't make it to meetings if they are held on weekdays though. My two kids live with me full time and I am busy with them. The weekends are good when their mom takes them. Well I will keep reading all of your posts guys and hope to meet you all sometime soon. Brad in Terre Haute.

The thing in my tire was fairly short and was in at an angle. I think I got lucky. I guess this back tire will last till spring. Yay!

Harley, I'll take 1 if you don't mind. Let me know what you want for that fender and when you wanted me to get it.

We had another great ride today..

Pete <aka> Indy_Bueller,
Chad <aka> Skeeter_xb
Ryan <aka> Raptor
Daniel <aka> Cyclonemaniac
and of course me Glenn, (Stone) preferably but Glenn works <aka> Har1ey , (loud and proud)

We have made an executive decision, Buell Brag chapter will be at Bloomington H/D, Fellow Hooligans that are interested need to start posting and predominately showing up (if possible) I know your all busy so am I, But I usually show up and bring others with me. lets go out with a bang this summer not saying it's the last ride but lets all get together once at Bloomington H/D and show them what we are all about. Today we saw at least 50 H/D riders heading out as we were going in and they were LOUD and Proud , lets at least get half of that and go in Buelligan style rock'n those aftermarket pipes as were sitting at the red light waiting for that light to go green..hammer the throttle and that speaks for itself. If you just bought a Buell just to cruise around...then just go cruising... If you Got a Buell to hit the biggest adrenalin rush you've ever seen, then this is where you want to be..On the road to twistyville where Buells are made to be thrown around...Rock on Buellers..I'll Be waiting.... Get off your Donkey and RIDE!!!!!!

I mean it
Glenn

Hey guys, I had fun yesterday! Picked up my new (to me anyway) XB9S, rode to Bloomington, got to meet some more fellow Buellers, put 160 miles on my new scoot and got to watch some bike races to boot!

Sorry we missed you Ed, I think we got there right after you left. I think from the general consensus of all there though, Bloomington is the best spot to re-ignite a BRAG chapter. So we will likely all be spending more time there.

Hey Pete, I would like to do the ride/show on the 8th. Hopefully I'll have the M2 back on the road by then. I'm gonna tear into it today and see what's going on. Thanks for the help offer.

Ryan I can't make it for that ride today, as much as I would like to.

I fully agree, Bloomington is the place to do this thing. I don't personally have anything against SSHD/B, but there is no denying that Bloomington is much more enthusiastic about the BRAG chapter and Buells in general. It is the place to be. I hope that any of you that might disagree will come with us to Bloomington sometime to find out for yourself. Or not. But the debate is over.

Is there any reason to have "Kokomo" in the title of this thread? Is there anyone here from Kokomo? I don't beleive the HD shop up there sells Buells anyway.

Heck, should we just move all our discussions to the Hoosier Thunder thread?

I think it makes sense to move over to Hoosier Thunder, provided Jeff has no objections since we aren't officially up and running.

That was the whole reason why I started this thread. I had no intentions on going south, Kokomo was much closer for me just about 15min away.

I'm just bubbling over with ideas right now. Remember how the Harley "Motorcycle Clubs" had thier own destinctive "colors" on the back of thier jackets? Do you guys think it would be cool to have our own as well? If so, does anyone know who has the artistic skills to help us make that happen?

I added another number to our group today. I met a guy named Tom a couple months ago who has a very nice Volcano Grey Cyclone. I saw him again today and mentioned that we are getting a BRAG chapter going again. He's excited about it and asked me for the number to BRAG so he could get a new membership. He also wants me to let him know when we have our first meeting so he can be there.

I also need to put together a mailing list. Right now I have email addresses for Glenn, Roger, and Dan. Everyone else, I need you to send me an email at blackhorse_cav at hotmail dot com. Please include your phone number, first and last name.

Last, I really think we should move to the Hoosier Thunder thread.

I totally forgot that they did that. lol Yeah, looking over what they have done there, I bet they could do something really awsome for us. I wonder how much it would cost to have a design like that made into patches large enough to cover the back of a jacket? Or maybe duplicated in a foil applique like the one on this jacket:

Here we go guys. I just got an email from Jeff Stevens.

Pete,

You are welcome. I am glad you had a good time at the races. Hopefully
the series will continue to grow in both participants and spectators.

Concerning the meeting; just let me know. Ron and I are excited and
anxious to get the enthusiasm rekindled. I will be out of town
9/18-9/25. Other than that I will be around. Let me know what will work
for you guys and we'll get it on the schedule and move forward. In
addition to your seven guys I know we have a number of potential members
too.

Jeff

Subject: Speedway Races, BRAG

Jeff,
First off I want to thank you for sponsoring the Speedway races last night, and for giving my friends and I tickets. We enjoyed ourselves a great deal.

Second, I'm sorry we didn't get a chance to talk yesterday, but I figured you had probably talked enough shop for the day. Besides, my friends and I had a great talk with Ron Hess about BRAG and he sealed the deal anyway. We would all like to throw our lot in with you for a BRAG chapter. Right now we have seven guys that have confirmed that they will participate, although one is out with a shoulder injury for the next few months.

So I suppose the next step is to set a meeting, elect officers if necessary, and do some other housekeeping type stuff. Would you agree with that?

Pete Johnson

When can we meet with him? Can everyone make it there this Saturday? I have to check myself, I'm not sure.

Pete

Pete, as of now I'm all in but things change quickly, I'll know for sure Thursday or Friday...I think that we need to meet a little earlier than noon, 10am would work best for me, I'll let the Twins know as soon as we get a head count. And we can talk to them about some colors, I've always wanted to be in a biker gang, so to speak.
