got a few ideas floatin around the ol' mellon. I kinda got the idea from areotech but i wanted the lights to be more recessed. Im thinking about getting some tinted lenses for the inside to clean it up a bit. So what does the law say about yellow head lights?  | ||

A little message from the Dart Ane himself about our goings on. Hello all, First of all I'd like to note that our B.R.A.G. chapter meets every Monday night at 7:00PM at the Hooter's restaurant on Eureka Rd. in Taylor just West of I-75. Stop on by for some wings - you can't miss the Buells all parked on the sidewalk there. Second I'd like to let everyone know of our upcoming events: Tomorrow, Friday July 19th, is the next BRAG discount day at American, with 10% off parts and accessories. The following week on Friday, the 26th, is the Test and Tune out at Milan Dragway. We will meet at American Harley Davidson and Buell and leave at 3:00PM. The cost is $20 and rules and regs can be found at www.milandragway.com/test/rules.html The basics are thus: No slicks, no wheelie bars, no delay boxes and your bike must appear 'stock'. In addition, you must wear protective clothing, including a leather or Kevlar armored jacket, gloves, over the ankle boots and a Snell-approved full-faced helmet. Faster bikes will also require leather or Kevlar armored pants. Even if you're not going to run, come on out to watch the fun. Finally, the Battle Twins will be a featured club in an upcoming issue of FUELL Magazine. We would like to get everyone together at Hooter's for a group photo to be submitted to FUELL for the article. Please get back to me with what would be a good time for you to make it, and I will send out a notice with when the photo will take place based on that ASAP. Until then, ride hard. HAY SPIDY I got a technical question for ya... i have the most peculiar sound comming from my bike when i accelerate... it sounds like a loose or not properly seated valve.. it is noticable but there is no noticable power change... is this something that has to be heard to figure out or is this a common problem with new X-1's. and is it covered by my warrenty if it is a problem????  | ||

so how did the cook out go? was it a good turn out? wish i was there... but have to teach little kids how to beat each other up in an organised manor. As one of my students parents once said, Karate class for children is best discribed as "Orgonized Chaos" I would have to agree.. but at least i got to sparr with the adult class after and get a ton of built up agression out.. hehehehe!!! LOL. It went well. More than likley your X1 is plauged with the ever popular valvetrain noise all Buell's have. Do you have the Race ECM on there yet? If not when you do it will get rid of that noise. |
