Problems/Miles (Please be specific): |
17K, Have been on two poker runs this month. Both times I have had fluid blow out of the transmission vent tube, mainly traveling on the interstate, Second trip went to a bike shop (owner has 3 Buells). We drained the trans fluid and filled it to spec. No problem on the poker run. Coming home on the interstate, leaked over my tire/fender. Calls to 2 HArley/Buell Shops were useless, dont know(have a clue)just bring it in. Would like to have an idea what causes it to do that. Trans/gear fuid is Rev Tech Hi-Perf for Sportsters. Any idea. THX.

Why I do/don't ride a Buell: |
Alot of fun to ride, practically maintenance free and except for my current problem...almost problem free. Lots of torque!!!
|
How can Buell improve their motorcycles?: |
The Lighting Long is nice size (for tall folks) wise, now make a Sport Tourer (S-3) with bags!!!!
