Servicing Dealership: | Me and my garage |
Performance Mods!: | Factory race kit, 2006 GSXR 600/750 3/4" diameter front brake master cylinder, more to follow. |
Problems/Miles (Please be specific): | Problems: I don't ride it quite everyday- that's the biggest problem I have. |
Other Mods/Misc/Customization.: | DarkHorseMoto econo fork sliders, and homemade swingarm sliders. Factory frame "bumpers". Debadged everything except the Buell logo. Catalyst Racing Composites belly pan- to be installed with switching exhaust and moving the kickstand. The wheels will be painted black soon as well. Custom logos are in the future also. |
Favorite Rides (Roads and Routes): | Trackdays- Grattan, Hallet, Pueblo and Miller Motorsports Streets- Rocky mountain canyons and Missouri Ozarks |
Why I do/don't ride a Buell: | Better handling than my previous CBR 600, better powerband, better fuel mileage, simple & clean design, and most important of all- I gave away all of my chain lube!!! |
How can Buell improve their motorcycles?: | Take out a little weight, go full metric on the fasteners. Keep it unique- the small chassis is awesome! Updating the Blast! into an XB5S! with a small lightweight thumper would make a sweet bike (maybe not cheap anymore, but fun). |
Life History/Philosophy: | Riding without a helmet is dumb. I'm a major techno-nerd. Listen more than you speak. I'm also into bicyles quite a bit. |
Top speed on 2 wheels (mph): | ~140, but more interested in top lateral acceleration |
Preferred engine oil (brand/grade): | Not sure, haven't seen any real evidence. |
