Why I do/don't ride a Buell: | It has local dealer support. It is easy to work on/fix (unfortunately it takes a lot of fixing). Simple and straightforward bike. |
How can Buell improve their motorcycles?: | Particulary the Blast could be modernized by making it lighter, shift better, have some standard size tires, maybe be a bit reliable. |
Life History/Philosophy: | Grew up on farm in Iowa. Undergrad and Grad degrees in Mechanical Engineering. Worked in high tech and biomed for 15 years. Moved home, now making shoes and custom boots. |
